What We Do

We work….

At Launch Uganda, we believe meaningful work is a gift, not a burden. Work affirms dignity by recognizing each person’s value and ability to contribute. It cultivates a strong work ethic and personal accountability, preparing students for life beyond the program rather than fostering dependency. By working, students take ownership of their growth, learn responsibility, and actively invest in their own future—gaining skills, confidence, and purpose that will serve them and their communities for years to come.

LU student Doreen says, “LU has made me a hard working lady… how to work in teams to accomplish the given tasks.”

We educate…

Launch Uganda believes in education because it restores dignity, builds character, and creates a pathway to a hopeful future. In a country where opportunity is scarce, education equips young people with skills, a strong work ethic, and personal accountability—empowering them not just to survive, but to lead and serve. By investing in education, we invest in students who can break cycles of poverty and become agents of lasting change for their families and communities.

We Disciple….

Launch Uganda believes in discipleship because true transformation begins with knowing who God is and discovering one’s identity in Christ. At the heart of the LU program, discipleship forms students through the daily disciplines of faith—Bible reading, Scripture memorization, verse-by-verse teaching, and intentional pastoral mentoring. As hearts and minds are shaped by God’s Word, students are equipped to live with conviction, integrity, and purpose, compelled by a growing love for God and for people. They are challenged to live on mission, making a lasting difference in their families and communities.
